As we greet the New Year 2023 with anticipation, I would like to share this prayer with you, wherever you are, so that we start the year aligned in The Spirit…

Heavenly Father, we thank you for your unmatched goodness in our lives over the past year. Even in a year of sickness, war, and conflict in our country between brothers and sisters, we acknowledge together that you are good and your faithfulness is demonstrated in your love and kindness, in the presence of your Spirit as we journey through even the darkest of seasons.

As we start this new year, Holy Spirit would you refresh our minds and our souls. We need peace for our hearts to journey through our days. Give us joy in our souls that would outshine everything small or large that attempts to take our eyes from you.

As we prepare to spend a season of prayer together, let there be one clear voice to us your Church, called by your name, as we attempt to humble ourselves and seek out your face. Let there be a turning from our wicked ways so you would hear our prayer and heal our land.
