Sacrificial Love

The Last Supper and Prayer in Gethsemane:

The Trial and Crucifixion:

In Luke 23, Jesus faces unjust accusations and condemnation before religious leaders and Roman authorities. In Luke 24 we also read of the encounter of the risen Saviour, on the road to Emmaus. As Jesus expounds the Scriptures and breaks bread with His disciples, their eyes are opened to recognize Him, igniting a flame of faith and hope within their hearts. Jesus commissions His disciples to proclaim repentance and forgiveness of sins to all nations before ascending to heaven, promising the gift of the Holy Spirit.
