Pastor Hana’s Weekly Reflection

Ever felt like life was dragging you down? Like you have this heavy weight holding you back? That’s exactly what the disciples went through in Matthew 26-28.

First, Jesus is betrayed by one of His closest friends, then arrested, tried, and crucified—everything they thought they knew was completely shattered. But here’s the plot twist: The story didn’t end there. Three days later, Jesus rose from the dead, and everything changed.

His resurrection proves that even in the darkest, most hopeless moments, God is still at work, and He’s got the final victory. It’s a reminder that no matter how bad things may seem, the best chapters are still ahead.

When life gets tough, and it feels like nothing’s going right, remember the resurrection. You might not be able to see the end of your story just yet, but God has already written the final chapter. So, live today with the hope that no matter what happens, victory is already secured. Instead of getting lost in the struggle, focus on the hope that the toughest battles bring out the greatest victories.

No matter what you’re facing, you can walk through it with the confidence that God is already working behind the scenes, bringing beauty from brokenness. So, keep holding on, because in Christ, your story isn’t over yet. Victory is already on the way. Keep your eyes on the hope that He’s got your back, no matter what!

  1. What’s something in your life that feels like it’s falling apart right now? How can you trust God with that situation, knowing that He has the final say?

  2. How can you live with the hope of the resurrection this week, especially when things seem impossible or uncertain?
