Reflection on 1 Corinthians 1-2
In 1 Corinthians 1-2, Paul highlights the vital contrast between human wisdom and wisdom that originates from God. The godly advice is to treat others with kindness and empathy, seek understanding and forgiveness, and live with integrity and humility.
When it comes to human wisdom and godly wisdom, the main difference is that human wisdom is influenced by our experiences and beliefs, which can limit our understanding. Our understanding is constantly changing to fit with today's values. At the same time, godly wisdom is timeless, all-knowing, and unchanging.
God's wisdom is revealed to those who have personal connection with God and are guided by the Holy Spirit.
