Reflect on the weekly readings with the following questions:

  1. In Matthew 5:21-30, Jesus teaches that sin begins in the heart, addressing anger and lust. How do these teachings challenge you to examine not just your actions but also your thoughts and attitudes?

  2. Jesus calls us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:43-48). What steps can you take to practice this kind of radical love and forgiveness in your relationships?

  3. In Matthew 6:19-34, Jesus teaches about storing treasures in heaven and trusting God for daily needs. How can you shift your focus from earthly concerns to seeking God’s Kingdom and righteousness?

  4. In Matthew 7:1-6, Jesus warns against judging others. How can you balance addressing sin with showing grace and humility in your interactions with others?

  5. In Matthew 7:24-29, Jesus concludes the Sermon on the Mount by comparing wise and foolish. How are you building your life on the firm foundation of Jesus’ teachings? Are there areas where you need to strengthen your commitment to living out His words?
