  1. What in your life are you feeling most thankful for at this moment?

  2. What was something that stood out to you from this past Sunday’s message? Share what you learned and how it will impact your life.

  3. Read 1 Corinthians 5. What were the Corinthians boasting about? Why should they be mourning instead? How is possible that the church was more accepting with this sexual immorality than the world?

  4. What are the steps of church discipline and how is it meant more for restoration rather than punishment?

  5. Read Matthew 7:1-6, Galatians 6:1-2 and James 5:19-20. Christians often seem quick to judge people who are not part of their church. Why do you think that happens? How does Paul address this tendency, and what do you believe it means to judge those who are part of the church?

  6. It can be tough when someone feels stuck in a pattern of unrepentant sin. How would you want someone to approach you, in that situation? How can we practice pursuing holiness in a loving way, without making anyone feel condemned or judged?

  7. Is there a place in your life where your habits do not align with your faith?

  8. Are there any hard conversations you need to have with someone you are in close community with??
